The EURO-LCP Initiative at the 1st FutureMed workshop

Monica Salvia and Filomena Pietrapertosa took part in the 1st FutureMed workshop, which was held in Chania, Crete, from 29 September to 1 October 2025.
They both contributed to the roundtable discussion entitled ‘Pathways for Just and Sustainable Adaptation: Tools, Policies and Practices for Resilient Mediterranean Futures’.
Monica was also invited to present ‘The quality and consistency of urban climate adaptation plans in 327 European cities‘, focusing on the last two papers developed within the EURO-LCP Initiative.
The workshop also gave Filomena the chance to present ‘Quality check of urban adaptation plans for more effective policies‘, introducing a new study carried out jointly by the EURO-LCP Initiative and the Joint Research Centre.

Thanks to the organisers of this wonderful networking event, which was funded by the COST Association.
